Baamarsh

Zarvand's port on the southern sea, below the Cinder Teeth and near the jungle border. In 690 a Castavari fleet landed missionaries here and the Zarvani burned their ship, after which the Rislo declared Zarvand a realm of idolaters; in 866 the Second Crusade landed on the nearby coast and took the city, holding it until the Battle of the Salt Pans in 868. The missionaries left behind the Baamarsh Converts, about two thousand Berrode Zarvani walled in their own quarter and kept alive by Castavari gold. It stands at the end of the road from Feshfaan by way of Vonteen-Shorooq, and is the Zarvani city nearest the Cinder Teeth and the jungle.
