The Canopy

The high branches of the Verdant Deep, home of the Canopy Folk, about five thousand people who never descend and hunt with blowguns. They were the first to follow Ixatl, because he gave them the ground, and Kaltzi was born among them. They travel on serpent-vine lianas, and sloths, macaws and sun-quetzals share their trees.
