The Tsenkin Range

The mountains around Lake Tsenkin, running on the map along the lake's eastern side from the north down past the Muhau. They are bamboo mountains, home of the Tsenkin panda, the macaque and the silk-goat, with twisted jade pines on their shrines and ginseng on their heights. The monasteries of the Way of the Empty Bowl stand here; General Dezau spent a year in one as a young man and left because, he says, "they were right and it was unbearable." The Tsenkin Hill-Folk live in villages above the lake.
