Killed his first man at fourteen and his first brother, everyone assumes, at twenty-six, though nothing was proven. Commands the ten thousand of the Unfading and holds Mazbaaran's citadel. Honest in the Zarvani way: has never lied about what he wants, which is the throne, and has never pretended he will share it. Brave, disciplined, a fine general, and a man who has never in his life been kind when it cost him anything. Evil by choice, effective by nature.
