Hold of the Iron Matron

The seat of the Iron Matron, the matriarch the Hizkari call Mother of Fire, in the heart of the Cinder Teeth. From here the Matrons have bargained with the Khaasareem since 851, when they first demanded gold instead of salt for their naphtha; the present Matron has quadrupled the price. Since 1140 Castavari envoys have been received in her hall.
