The Vargate

The Vargate is the northernmost of the Karzhan Spine's army passes, on the road from Hethlend and Chomtholk to Ironjaw Hold in the Hrodvald clanholds. It carries the Fur Trail from the Frostmarch south into Aldmere, and the Fur-Road Qaflan run their caravans from the Vargate to Krasvuv. Aldmere built the first fortress here in 283 after Fevar Red-Axe raided down the trail to Chomtholk. The Vargate Clans live in the foothills around it and toll everybody who passes.
