Vonteen-Shorooq

The Khaasar's summer city on the north shore of Lake Shorooq, site of his summer palace. The Second Crusade took it in 866 and held it for two years, until the cataphracts' charge across the Salt Pans in 868. It stands where the road south from Mazbaaran through Kumirekh and the Oasis of Durkis meets the road from Feshfaan to Baamarsh. Flamingos crowd the flats below it.
